Just found out yup can go to www.breetanner.com and read the new book The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner for free until July 7th. I hope you all enjoy it. Please let me know what you think of it. I am surprised she is letting it out for free but so it is great for all of us who love freebees. Yeah!!!!! Also the soundtrack is out and I am also curious to know what you all think of it. I have heard a few songs from it and I am not as impressed as the first one but I also liked the first movie the best. Not much more of a wait for the movie. The MTV awards were good. Tickets Just Went On Sale

Tickets just went on sale and here in the Pacific Northwest at our favorite theater one showing is already sold out! In some places it will be at IMAX theaters. That would be a cool experience. Oprah Wishes She Was A Twihard

Ok so I watched the Oprah show on Eclipse by pure accident because frankly I do not watch Oprah. I don't like her!! Anyway, I was just flippin channels and there she was talking to my Edward and she can't pronounce phenomenon and she kept trying to be so serious and ask them the most dumbest questions we already know all the answers to. To be honest, I think she was belittling the Twilight fans, but most of them worship her and couldn't see it. So, Rob knocked on fans doors and surprised them and all the people got the watch the movie the night before. She sent a lady to some Twilight Mom's house and saw how they had Twilight party's and pretty much made it look like they ignored their kids while they drooled over Edward cardboard cutouts. Then Oprah kept sayin, I just don't get it. I think you don't get, that you didn't put your Oprah book club sticker on this one a long time ago, jealous much miss Oprah. Ok, my ranting is over now for the good stuff. I found some behind the scenes stuff that is pretty good and oh ya, Rob announced Kristen's pregnant but he's having the baby so we all get to see him get big and fat! LOL!!!

I love how he makes fun of the whole sex symbol thing and the gay rumors at the same time. The timing with Letterman is spot on, cause he almost either answered the question about him and Kristen or he was going to say he would never answer it. Either way, Letterman cut him off. He seems to never let the spotlight go to his head.

View Point Inn

Because I live along the Columbia Gorge were they filmed the first Twilight movie it wasn't much of a drive to go to the View Point Inn. The View Point Inn is were the prom scene was filmed. The owner proudly displays magazine covers that have articles featuring the View Point Inn and the Twilight movie being filmed there. They have a Twilight walk of fame outside were you can buy a brick for a thousand bucks to help with the renovation of the building. The renovation has been going well, Rob and Kristen bought a brick and the rooms look great. They are inexpensive and the Sunday brunch (which I had) was $28 a person and super great!! The food was fantastic and the view was amazing. They even left the Monte Carlo Casino night prop from the prom that Rob & Kristen walked thru for the movie. Ya, I got a pic under that. I even got to look out the window Victoria did and walk down the staircase she stormed down. It seemed less dramatic I know but still fun. We also went to Multnomah Falls which is right below The View Point Inn. There are about five waterfalls but Multnomah is the biggest. I didn't see any vampires playing baseball unfortunatly. Well, if you are in the Portland area please check out the Twilight sights you will be happy you did.

Remember Me

Next Friday March 12th Remember Me comes out! I plan on seeing it with my friend who gave me my Twilight book. The one who introduced me to Edward. So, we've seen Little Ashes and we've seen How To Be and now we get to see Rob in a big screen film that is sure to please. His performance in Little Ashes was better than I thought it was going to be. I really liked How To Be also, it was funny and if you can get past the accents and here what the heck they're saying you'll like it. You gotta give Summit credit for being creative. They wont release the trailer for Eclipse until the release of Remember Me. Of course they wont. They want all of us Twihards to wait till we go see the movie. Brilliant!! So here is the trailer. I'll let ya know how it was when I see it.

Rob is Bothered!!

So if you don't watch Jimmy Fallen, One your missing out and two you missed Rob Pattinson! But I will catch you up. So, Jimmy has been doing these videos were he pretends to be Rob and sits in his tree and talks about things that Bother him. The big treat March 1st was that when Jimmy was in his tree Rob was up there with him, and yes he was Bothered!!! Kudo's to Rob for being able to laugh at himself and for giving us such a treat.

Sorry fans. I had been gone for a while. My Mom just passed away in Dec and I was busy with planning her funeral. She was a big fan of my blog and of all the Twilight movies. She used to have me read the books to her when she was recovering from her chemo. We saw Twilight but she never got to see New Moon cause it wasn't out on DVD yet. So I'm keep my blog going in memory of her. Hope you all like it.

Who did Vanity Fair pick to be on their December issue? Who else but our hunky, lovely Robert Pattinson. I haven't actually gotten my hands on this issue yet. It came out yesterday but I am in a po-dunk town right now and so the grocery store told me they won't have it until Friday. You can bet I will be buying a few issues on Friday. You can go to Vanity Fair.com and check out more pics and see pieces of the interview. He doesn't talk too much about his love life with Kristen Stewart. I did see the interview in Allure with Kristen and it was really good. It gave a good portrait of a young women who is handling her fame well and is a little self conscious about herself even though she may be one of the most sought after celebs of our time. Pick up a copy of Vanity Fair and prepare to drool.

I just found out that John Hansen who owns the Twilight costume collection is allowing them to use the costumes for thier New Moon parody. It is going to be amazing. New Moon Tickets Already SOLD OUT!!!!!!

Twilighters do not freak but it is true. I just bought my ticket almost two months in advance. Yes, a movie ticket!!! Fandango has that is has sold out of 50 showings already. I got online to buy tickets at our local theater and the showings that were sold out weren't even the midnight showings! As with the Twilight premiere my Twihard friends and I are having a party to celebrate the return of the Cullens in all their glory. I feel like I am planning a wedding. I have never been so organized for something in all my life. Never have I planned for something in this far in advance. It is reported that New Moon is already out selling some movies that are actually playing in theaters. This is crazy ya know!!!! I love it If you and your Twifriends are having a premiere party let me know what your doing and share some of your cool ideas. I can't wait to see them.

Rob Speeks, I mean Tweets!!

So Sunday I was sitting on the couch playing with my iphone and I thought I would check in with my favorite smutt columist Lainey Gossip. Well I was reading her tweets and all of a sudden she goes, hey twitter is held up, " I always think there must be a sex tape of RPattz out and the twihards are going crazy when twitter goes down" so I figure hmmm maybe she's right I better check out Pfach's twitter. So sure enough--just kidding no sex tape but Rob spoke. See, I knew Peter had talked about if he got to a million fans on twitter he would see if Rob would tweet from his account. Well he made it and sure enough Rob tweeted. You can go to Peter's page and check it out. If you aren't already following him do it!! Rob of course does not have one, but Peter does and many others on the film and it's a great way to see how filming is going and even the director of Eclipse puts on pics and keeps us updated. So I know you all have been so sad that you haven't heard from me for a long time and I am so sorry that I haven't graced you with my great news of our favorite couple. I have been taking care of my Mother how has cancer and so my blog was the last thing on my mind. However, tonight my mind needed to think of something besides reality and yes Edward and Bella and the world of Twilight was exactly what I needed. I was in the supermarket and I picked up the latest Life & Style and to my happy heart Rob and Kristen were seen kissing at a Kings of Leon concert in Vancouver British Columbia. Talking Twilight is a convention set up to benefit the local children's hospital, Doernbecher's Children's Hospital in Portland, and it will be attended by Peter Facinelli, Edi Gathegi, Alex Meraz, Christian Serratos, Gil Birmingham, Ayanna Berkshire, and Logan Welch (stunt double as Edward for Robert Pattinson).

Talking Twilight will be hosting a blood drive (theme: "I got bitten to feed a vampire") event that anyone in the United States can participate in. Between July 31st and August 1st, if a person donates blood, they can get their local blood donation location to send proof of that fact to the Clark County Donation Center in Westfield Shopping Center (a.k.a. Vancouver Mall) with a letter of intent to enter the drawing and be signed up for the chance to win two free tickets to the Talking Twilight convention.

New Moon Movie Picture

Here is a picture that just came out from the movie. This is from TwilightSaga.com I think it might be the part around were she is thinking about cliff diving. Sounds like fun. Especially when someones voice comes in your head when you do it. Hey what do you guys think about the fact that in the movie it won't just be his voice that she hears but Edward will be an apparition that appears to her. Do you think that will be corny or cheesy for lack of a better word. Rob has been quoted as saying something along the lines of the fact that they wanted him to be on screen more and so instead of her hearing his voice every time she did something dangerous he will appear to her as an apparition of sorts. Will he be ghostly white? Will she talk to him? Ok, this is my big problem. I don't want Bella talking to this ghost Edward. Well tell me what you think.

Eclipse Director on Twitter

I was on my Twitter account and since I don't have a lot to say I was just reading everyone's posts and following the twitts around and I saw Peter Facinelli say to follow David_A_Slade and then there was a mention about Eclipse with it. So of course I click over to this Slade fellows page to see what he is talking about. Sure enough Mr. Slade is the director of Eclipse and he is Twittering away about storyboards and scouting locations and many other goodies on his Twitter account. He even had some very funny pictures. One was about what the Eclipse movie will look like and then it was a picture of himslef looking all serious. It was hilarious cause all these people thought he was going to post something that would give them a clue about the movie. From what I can gather he is funny and smart and he has been talking to Stephenie Meyers pretty often. He Tweeted about it the other day that he was meeting with her and going over some things. This gets me very excited Twilight fans. If you don't have an account get one. You don't even have to post anything just follow the stars....the many Twilight stars that is and see what is going on in the Twilight universe. These Photos were from US magazine. They say they were photos from Nov. but that it was a secret photo shoot. It didn't elaborate on why they didn't use the photos or if they did or not. I couldn't find them on their website. I found an interview but not these photos. My Dad is a Rolling Stone reader maybe he has seen them, but like a good Daddy whose daughter loves Twilight ya think he would have passed that one on. Anyway here are the photos. Ya I know you all will love the wet T-shirt one but mine is the flannel shirt one. He talks in the interview about how he looks different from different angles, I think that's what some of us like, that he always looks different. Of course he said if he isn't filmed or photographed from a certain angle he looks deformed. I think we all feel that way. I love that he isn't conceded. Vampire Baseball A Hit

Vampire Baseball was a big hit here in Portland OR. this past fourth of July weekend. Many stars from the Twilight Saga showed up to support the Make A Wish foundation. Peter Facinelli drove 18 hours in an RV with his wife and kids to come and hang in our lovely town. You can check out the picks of his trip on his iphone app. Go to this website and see all the pics of the Vampire Baseball game. I myself didn't get to go but I heard it was fun and the fans and stars enjoyed themselves. It was a beautiful day and the sun was out and life in the Northwest was good. There are something like 209 photos taken by a Loolith at flickr. I did not take any of the photos and I have no rights to them. I just wanted to pass on the website so you all could check it out. Indie Twific Awards

Most of you have probably already indulged in reading some Twilight fanfiction. If you have you have noticed a few things. One is that these writers, unlike me, are darn good, and two they are so imaginative. I am endlessly greatful for them that the world of Cullens and Forks and all our favorite characters can live on in so many interesting ways. When I finished Breaking Dawn I was sad that it was over and then like everyone else I found Midnight Sun online and read it. I read The Host and loved it but I truly missed the characters I had come to love. I wondered what they would do now that they were safe. What would Edward and Bella's live be like now that they had a family. I even started to wonder about the characters lives before the beginning of Twilight. How had Carlilse and Esme met and what about Emmett and Rosalie and what would they be doing now. I'm glad people with real writing skills wondered these exact things and created Twilight fanfiction. My favorite fanfiction story is the Untitled Continuation of a Twilight Saga and in reading that I signed up for to comment on the writers page. Well the other day she sent me a message that she had been nominated for the Indie Twific Awards. I went to the site and low and behold it was a great mecca of twifiction. Everyone must go there and check out the terrific stories to read. I am reading one right now called The Demise of Esme. I am checking them out so I can figure out which ones to vote for. There are categories and the website explains how to vote and when. Head on over there and get busy, but be forewarned you may never leave your computer. Please comment on the ones you like the best so I can check them out.

The Sexy Stars of Twilight Magazine came out yesterday so my friend picked me up one at Costco. They are $9.99 but Costco has them %25 off I believe. It is created by the editors of US magazine so if you are a Twihard you probably already have read all of the articles but some are new and the pictures are very good. The posters are great but were is a 30-something mom to put them. It is definetly a collectors item and I suggest you check it out. It's worth it.

These are the New Moon Paperback book covers. They are similar to the poster but one has Edward looking down and the other one is for all you Jacob lovers. Jacob is holding Bella and Edward is watching over them in the moon above. So the big question we all have the New Moon book but will we buy these two versions. I think this one makes him look gay. Why not slap him next to Adam Lambert, are they trying to make him look gay, maybe they think it will help with the screaming mob that is following him right now. Rob & Kristen Are Heating Up!!!!!

I can't help it there is like nothing going on and I can only read the book and watch the movie so many times. I picked up this Life&Style mag today at the grocery store because lets face it I just can't help myself. So I suggest you pick it up. Ya I know we're in a recession and you probably have better things to spend your money on but it's only a dollar and the pics are worth it. For those of you who just won't spend that dollar I will share with you that the hot steamy fountain scences in New Moon were they have their passionate kiss was all the talk among the extras cause every time the director yelled "cut" Rob and Kristen pretended not to hear them and kept right on kissing as if no one was there. They are always together and hanging out till the wee hours of the night in his trailor. I'm sure you all saw the big tease of the hot and steamy almost kiss at the MTV awards but according to L&S the kiss took place after the show and around 11pm they ditched the after party and headed to the holtel and didn't emerge until noon the next day when Rob reportedly planted a kiss on Kristens cheek and then drove off in true Edward style. I'm sure non of this is setting well with Kristen's boyfriend and I believe some of the mags are saying she has already dumped him but maybe our Edward and Bella have a real love romance. Forks ID Cards For Sale

You now can buy Forks ID cards on Amazon. A very creative vendor at Comic-con had these ID cards and sold a ton of them I'm sure. I bet you could find them on ebay as well. Of course the creative scrapper in me is already thinking about pulling out the laminator! Man I'm hopeless. Let me know if anyone finds these for cheap I didn't look up how much they are, and I'll let you guys know if I make any.

I know it's really early but I have been thinking about the premier party and like planning for any big party we need to start thinking about the details. So I found this cake today and thought it would be great for the New Moon Premier Party. The person who had it made did it for a birthday party and recreated Bella's birthday from the movie. They had the candles and roses and the whole thing. As I find more ideas I will post them.

The MTV Awards & New Moon Trailer

The MTV Awards were Sundar night and we swept the awards if you haven't heard yet. It was amazing. My good friend and I watch the awards and had a cold brew and a good laugh at all the escapades that ensued. Rob and Kristen got best Kiss and gave us quite a show with a steamy almost kiss when they were on stage, Cam and Rob got best fight, and Edward got best breakthrough performance, Kristen got best actress and in true Bella fashion dropped her award and fumbled all over herself it was very cute. It was funny and of course the high light of the evening was the New Moon Movie Trailer. Here is the link to it. I have watched it about a gazillion times on my DVR and now I can watch it on my blog so I hope you enjoy it too. It looks like the movie is going to be all we hope it will. I do wonder how they will bring up in the story line the new house the Cullens are in . That is not the house they were living in in Twilight, it is beautiful though. Twilight Over Portland

So I'm back people. My computer was out and now my good friend let me borrow her mini laptop. Amazing, it's so much better to type with both hands again. I love Edward the iphone (yes my iphone's name is Edward) but it's hard to type everything one handed. Anyway while I was away I found some very interesting things happening in our hometown. One of them is the Twilight Over Portland. It is a Twilight Convention that will have some very familiar faces to the Twihard fan. Dr. Carlise, Laurant, Angela, and Cora the waitress, along with Billy and a few others who will be anounced. You can check out the link on the link /talkingtwilight.com/convention.html A local mother of two has started a website Talking Twilight.com and she's trying to promote this area by bringing the actors here for a convention. The money raised goes to charity and it includes a brunch and a meet and greet with the actors. It's a three day pass that also includes a tour of the places the movie was filmed at. Then they will recreate the Prom at the Veiw Point Inn. Check it out and let me know what you think. Oh the other thing I found was the Vampire Basball. Dr. Carlisle likes the Pacific Northwest I guess cause he will be here the fourth of July for Vampire Baseball at the PGE stadium go to ticket master to get your tickets.

Tempest Storm

So this is my new obsession. I found out that fans who are more talented then me in their writing abilities are coninuing the saga of our favorite characters we love so much. I went on this fanfiction site not expecting too much and to my pleasant surprise fell in love with the story that I am lovingly calling Tempest Storm. A great lady named Renee took our beloved Edward and Bella and imagined what they and their family would be doing six years after Breaking Dawn ended. There are new characters to love and hate and there are fast cars to drool over and drama to eagerly turn the cyper page too. I can't wait for each and every one of you to click on the link and start your new found obsession with what Renee has written. She hasn't titled her creation, so she calls it the "Untitled Continutation of The Twilight Saga" however I have named it Tempest Storm. You will have to read it and then comment on what you think and if you like my title or if you come up with a better one or not. Thank God fans write better then I do and that they are out there to keep those of us who don't in something to read while we await things like the New Moon movie and oh I don't know more needless merchandise. New Moon Poster & Twilight Movie Where Was It Really Filmed?

This is the new poster for the New Moon movie which will come out in 6 months come tomorrow. Filming is taking place as we speak in Vancouver B.C. and also in Italy. I was browsing another website today and the webmaster was commenting on her trip to the real home of the Twilight Movie. It occurred to me that many people are mistaken as to where the filming of Twilight took place. The book is set in Forks, WA and Port Angeles and of course the La Push reservations. The movie was filmed in Portland OR due to limited accommodation for cast and crew. The Port Angeles scenes were filmed in St. Helens OR. The Vampire Baseball scene was filmed at Multnohma Falls and those sweeping views from the top of the tree were of the Columbia River Gorge which is were I call home. The Prom scene was The View Point Inn in Portland OR. and Forks High was in Portland. I hope this clears up any confusion for some people. Forks is the ideal place of the Twilight setting that was in Stephenie Meyers head. She visited Forks after writing the book and talks about how perfect it was and how when she went to the La Push reservation she was waiting for Jacob to jump out of the forest at any moment. But, the movie and what you see there is definitely the Pacific Northwest, and as a Pacific North westerner I am so happy that we had a movie filmed here that did it's beauty justice.

Twilight Crazy

So, this is my first post & I just have to say that my Twilight world has been crazy for quite a while. My collection of things has gotten way out of control and my friend and I threw a Twilight part Fri. night and yes we made Twilight martinis and played my Twilight board game. I love being a Twilgiht geek. However today I started thinking about why I love being a geek so much. Some of my friends look at me like I have lost my mind, like they are so far above this fleeting thing called Twilight and it's factuation with a fictional character named Edward. Oh they look at me and see the eyes of a silly teenage girl and wonder in their oh so grown up 30 something minds what must be wrong with her and how does her husband put up with her. Well I wonder the same thing too quite often but I believe the answer lies in the fact that I don't want to have the answer. I believe it lies in the fact that so many days as a 30 something Mommy of four we have to get together and comtemplate our children's education and polotics and religion and so many things that make us so responsible and wonderful. But, for just a little bit and maybe longer for me, I wanted to talk about nothing but fictional characters and use that part of my imagination that had lied dormant since the days of high school and longing over a someone who was oh so hot. Is it possible for just a moment to feel like this book has made so many of us feel like when we were teenagers and we had the whole world stop because some guy actually looked at us and the drama that unfolded was life altering. Nothing alters my life lately unless it involves running out of milk. I don't want to give up my Twilight obsession, addiction, craziness or whatever label you put on it because it makes me feel what has been missing for quite a while. That I have an imagination and I'm not afraid to use it. Oh, and ladies life doesn't have to be so darn deep.
